Designing your kid’s room can be a bit of a hassle. When your kids are small they can share a room because they don’t require much space. Also if you have a small house then this will make things easier for you. Later when you move into a bigger house you can give them their own separate rooms. When you are making your children share a room you should give them a room that is big enough for them and their things. You shouldn’t make your children chare everything. If you are planning on buying a double bed so that your kids can share the bed then you should rethink your decision. Let them have their own beds because as it is they are sharing the room. If there isn't space for two spate beds then you don’t have to buy two separate ones. All you have to do is buy a bunk bed. Bunk beds are really good beds for kids who are sharing a room. This way you don’t have to share a bed and there is also a lot of vacant space in the room for other furniture.
Once you have furnished your kid’s room you will also have to go shopping for furniture for your room. You need to consider the size of the room and you need to buy the furniture accordingly. If you have a small room then don’t buy a big bed because the bed will take up most of the space in the room and then you wont have space left for other stuff. So choose your bed carefully. Instead of going for a double bed, you should go for a 4ft bed. 4ft beds are the best for small rooms and they can be easily accommodated in these rooms. So when you go shopping for beds you need to keep the size of the room in mind. If you have a big room then you can go for a king size bed without worrying much.
